Well tbh, this was a huge community when I joined, and considering the fact that a lot of the people were loads older than I was, I'd imagine that they've all moved on, got married and had kids etc and haven't the time to come back. Heck, I joined almost 8 years ago so i can fully understand why people have disappeared
Also, most forums hugely rely on new members to replace the older ones who leave after time, and the sad fact of the matter is that not that many younger people are interested in the older anime, if any at all..

It would probably help if Masaki Kajishima made another entry to the series that didn't end up being some sort of cop-out.

He left a decade between series, unfortunately that's plenty of time for people's voices to age. Ryoko's English voice actor wasn't exactly a young woman when the first season came around.

It happens!
There isn't much I can do to stop it considering that Tenchi Muyo! is just one series with several sub-series and it isn't on TV much anymore. This site got really popular in 2000-2003 and it has since went downhill; heck I rarely myself check it anymore. I sometimes update it and I still post pictures from my Anime Conventions, but that's really it. There isn't really much pull anymore.
For this forum to become busy again is if the series comes back on U.S. Television, simple as that.
And yes, a lot of us that still show up here are a lot older now, This site itself is over 12 years old now... it has outlasted a lot of Tenchi sites over the years and the messages people leave now on the guestbook are like "wow, its still here" or "I remember coming here years ago." Since I still own the domain and my friends in Maine still provide the server space for the site, I hope it will continue for years to come, even if it is rarely updated... if anything else, to open up the eyes of some unsuspecting person to another anime series.

Familiarity, the first myth of reality. What you know the best, you observe the least.

I find myself backtracking my past and look what I run into. heh I apparently did a lot of pm trading a long time ago with some of you (01' I suppose?), and since I've become who I am now, I appreciate how you treated me then.
I hope you're all doing well, even though it may be seven years forward.
