that looks like it came from the pretty sammy series.
now for firechild. it was a OVA, most the time its only a few episodes but it looks like it was made into a season, and now since the vast popularity of the OVA they continued on the storyline. (on a side note... FREAKIN' SWEET!) so well see how it turns out, i mean shit right now i JUST got volume #3 with the nice little tin collectors thing. but i have yet to watch it. but so far with the story twists, its got me all types of confused.
for mayuka... you know ryoko... if shes going to have a kid, shes going to want to make "love". but the idea with the hologram shit, im not too sure about that. washu could run it to see a test result or something but ryoko would never fall for it or accept it. not to mention if it were to happen the way you say it would ryoko would kick washu's ass. so im not quite down with that theory, in the ova there's that episode where ryoko and ayeka are both trying to win tenchi and you see ryoko say "oh, so that's how they do it here on earth". BUT NOW I HAVE ONE MAJOR HOLE IN THE THEROY! what about ryo-ohki? shes ryokos sister, but using your theory that washu created the kid in a lab wouldn't ryo-ohki be just as much a mother as ryoko? but ryoko was also created on the ship with kagato and washu together. and washu said in the OVA episode that the (i don't know the name of them off of the top my head) but the blob thing that ryo-ohki sees in washus lab. those were used. blah! i just dont see it happening. it would have to be conceived using the good old fashioned way!  i don't want to piss in your cheerios but come on! the sexual innuendos, the love story. i say nay to the theory.

I had forgotten about RyoOhki.
Not sure how things would go from that angle.
I know that part of Ryoko's fascination with tenchi, has to do with glomping tenchi when she feels up-to-it (which is about all the time). But, you must admit that tenchi wouldn't jump the gun and do something like this, for many years yet. So, a computer simulation would be the closest Ryoko would come, for the time being. I don't doubt that she would know that it was a simulation, but still.. part of her would respond to caring for a little one. Look at how she responded to RyoOhki when she was lost.

hmmm... so washu would just go and do this for shits and giggles? naaaahhh... and ya know tenchi is in the later teen years and so, although he wouldn't be planning on getting her pregnant he would just want some sex, and so as they say, wrap it before you tap it. i mean a 17-18 year old kid damn right hes going to be getting the hankerin', and its ryoko who's always down with that, so shizam!

it was a joke, but ya cant rape the willing. i mean how many times has ryoko come at him ass naked in the onsen? he just tends to ignore it, but although he is VERY good at controlling it, i mean shit all he has to do is get drunk and doh'!!! oh well it was damn good... and now he wants more. he was hitting it in tenchi the movie #3. and so that was in later years. so when he came back who knows how hes going to act.

there's something of an idea regarding ryoko having a daughter, which was floated on another message board. It goes something like this:
Washuu, after realizing how bad a mother that she's been to Ryoko, decides to give Ryoko a second chance before she (Washuu) splits. So, one morning Ayeka wakes up and find a note from washuu close by. It reads, "I wanted Ryoko to have a better mother than what I was. Your pregnant, deal with it."
9 months later, Ayeka gives birth

I laughed when I first saw it, and yeah.. it would make an interesting plot development as well as a whole new spin-off series.
Ryoko irritating Ayeka on a whole new level.

Yeah, a lot of details get filled in and I think it only makes the idea of a continued storyline more reasonable. Being a comic writer I'm a sucker for character and plot development so I really hope there's going to be more than that (and hopefully a conclusion to the choice).
